On day 1 we set our intentions for where we want to be at on day 9 of the challenge. If you haven’t had a chance to read yesterday’s message, you can read it here.
Today, I want us to ask ourselves who are we becoming?
Have you been living life on autopilot?
Before travelling to Ghana, I had been operating on autopilot. This lack of consciousness about my very own life and the direction it was going in was stopping me from living a life that was more raw and real.
I had allowed people, things or situations outside of me to give me a false sense of security, a false sense of value. I had forgotten who I was and what I truly wanted.
So who do you want to be?
Do you want to proactively become that person or do you want to remain where you are and ponder about other possibilities?
Think about what you could do, who you could be, where you could go and what you could believe if you started showing up fully to your life!
Oprah says:
Unless you are finding a way for what you believe to be true about yourself to express and manifest itself in the world, you are not living your fullest life.
This is my favourite quote of all time because it prompts me to pause and reflect.
So I ask you, what do you believe to be true about yourself or what do you want to believe to be true about yourself?
It can be scary to be confronted by the realisation that you are living a dual life, meaning your truth has become buried. In my own experience, it was this realisation I had in Ghana that led me to start questioning everything I had accepted up until that point. This led to some difficult decisions that needed to be made if I was going to stop living life on autopilot.
This meant change.
I was afraid.
But it was in fully living in who I was that I saw myself transform, rise and set myself free from the limiting beliefs of the mind.
If you want to be led by freedom rather than fear, remember that freedom begins as a state of mind, an attitude, a belief-system. Which means freedom can be available to you right now.
We may need some support in truly walking in our freedom - therapy, leaning on friends, education, creative expression and so on - but we can choose today to recognise that salvation is available to us now.
Are you afraid of the person you are becoming? Or are you pleased with the person you are becoming? Recognise the difference.
Show up as who you want to be now. You don’t need to completely get rid of fear before you start living as who you want to be.
We can grow, and our lives can blossom even in the face of fear.
So you would you be if you weren’t so afraid?
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”

My fellow human, who you want to become is possible.
With love and straight from the heart,
Adjoa 🧡
DO YOU NEED PRAYER?
I personally commit this challenge to Jehovah God in prayer because I can do nothing without Him. One of my favourite names for God is Jehovah Jireh meaning “The Lord will Provide.” And I believe the Lord will provide for you in your situation.
This is completely optional but if you would like me to add you to my personal prayer list I will pray for you everyday of this challenge. If you would like me to just pray generally for you I can do that. If you want me to pray more specifically for something you are placing your hope in the One Above for, I can do that too. All you have to do is direct message me on instagram to create a safe space and impose no pressure.
Regardless, I hope you will meet me here everyday for the next 9 DAYS. It’s my birthday in 9 DAYS also and so I will be sharing a special gift with each participant of the challenge at the end 🎁. Details of how to receive your gift will be given on DAY 9.
Thank you so much for all your support.
You are treasured.
You are special.
You have a purpose in this world.
Never forget that.
Habakkuk 2:2 and Mark 11:23-24 come to me when reading this. Not just writing the vision of who we see ourselves becoming but having faith a speaking it out, affirming who we want to be even before we become it. God bless you for this challenge Adjoa ✨💫✨
